Yuval Tassa 893c404230 Runtime disabling of actuators according to group.
Added `option-actuatorgroupdisable` attribute and associated `mjOption.disableactuator` integer bitfield, used to disable sets of actuators at runtime according to their group.

- The first 6 actuator groups are toggleable in the `simulate` viewer.
- Minor refactor and cleanup of actuator documentation.

Yuval Tassa 18d9f1abb0 Improvements to timing.
- Fixed bug in timing of kinematics, was under-reported.
- Moved timing of inertia and collision into respective functions, in preparation for multi-threading.

Yuval Tassa 63fd23a934 Remove mjTIMER_ACCELERATION, add mjTIMER_ADVANCE.
- mjTIMER_ACCELERATION is not very useful, it's usually very tiny (0.5% for humanoid, 1% for 22humanoids). It basically times a single call to `mj_solveM`.

- Added `mjTIMER_ADVANCE` to time `mj_Euler` and `mj_implicit` (which can be significant).

- Moved `mj_transmission` to `mjTIMER_KINEMATICS` where it belongs (and used to be).

Yuval Tassa 86d8b912f4 Rejigged solver statistics in preparation for islanding.
- See public description below.
- Stopped incrementing the iteration count in saveStats().
- `sizeof(mjSolverStat) == 40`, so this ends up costing 160KB, up from 40KB.

Changed the size of `mjData.solver`, the structure used to collect solver diagnostic information. The array is now of length `mjNISLAND * mjNSOLVER`, where each row of length `mjNSOLVER` contains separate solver statistics for each constraint island. Until solver islanding is implemented, only row 0 is used.

- The new constant `mjNISLAND` is set to 20.
- `mjNSOLVER` is reduced from 1000 to 200.
- Added `mjData.solver_nisland`, the number of islands for which the solver ran.
- `mjData.solver_niter` (renamed from mjData.solver_iter) and `mjData.solver_nnz` are now integer vectors of length `mjNISLAND`.

Nimrod Gileadi 2c3297b3e7 Add filterexact and actearly options to MuJoCo.
When filterexact is a new dyntype which is just like the existing `filter`, but the activation state is integrated with exact integration, instead of simple Euler integration.

When actearly is specified on a general actuator, `qfrc_actuator` is computed using the next timestep's `act` value, instead of the current value.

Yuval Tassa 51aa375af0 Improvements related to models where joint-actuator relationship is not one-to-one:
- Add `joint-actuatorforcerange` for clamping total actuator force at joints. Add `sensor-jointactuatorfrc` for sensing total actuator forces on a single joint.

Saran Tunyasuvunakool 946c12faae Add missing semicolons after mjFREESTACK.
The code is already well-formed since the macro itself contains a semicolon, however this is stylistically inconsistent with the rest of the codebase. The missing semicolon is also problematic for automated code transformations.

Yuval Tassa 6d01627c0b No longer modify control vector in-place, add mju_clip.
- Never modify `d->ctrl`:
  - `ctrl` values which are outside their respective `ctrlrange` are clamped internally, but `d->ctrl` itself is unmodified.
  - Similarly, if `mjWARN_BADCTRL` is raised (NaNs or huge values), `ctrl` is cleared internally, but `d->ctrl` itself is unmodified.
- `mjWARN_BADCTRL` is no longer raised for `d->ctrl` values that are larger in absolute value than `mjMAXVAL`, if clamping makes them smaller than that.
- Added `mju_clip()` utility function.
- Added missing warning string for `case mjWARN_BADCTRL`.

Yuval Tassa 228264c92b Add efficient finite-difference Jacobians of mj_step.
- Add `qH` and `qHDiagInv` to `mjData` to save factorized modified inertia.
- Add `mj_EulerSkip`, `mj_implicitSkip`, to `engine_forward.c`.
- Using the above functions, implement `mj_stepSkip` in `engine_derivative.c`.
- Add `mjd_stepFD` and `mjd_transitionFD` to `engine_derivative.c` to compute `mj_step` Jacobians.
  - Exploit "Skip" functionality for speed.
  - Correctly handle quaternion derivatives.
  - Handle warmstarts and control limits.

Alessio Quaglino 307cf692e5 Add <damper> actuator shortcut and related mjGAIN_AFFINE.
**Rationale**

A general `mjGAIN_AFFINE` actuator adds the term `force = (c + kp * length + kv * velocity) * ctrl`. The damper shortcut restricts it to `kv * velocity * ctrl` and sets the `ctrllimited` attribute to true.

Saran Tunyasuvunakool 5cc73c30bf Align all arrays in mjData's buffer to 64 byte boundaries.
The introduction of additional mjData arrays for the implicit integrator caused in a shift in data alignment in memory. In certain combinations of machines and models, this change resulted in ~5% performance regression that appears to be attributable to L2 cache misses.

This change aligns all arrays in mjData to the boundary of a typical L2 cache line size. Benchmarking shows that this resolves the performance regression on a Broadwell machine.

DeepMind 64bc6d27b2 Add implicit integrator.
Added analytic derivatives of smooth (unconstrained) dynamics forces, with respect to velocities:
  - Centripetal and Coriolis forces computed by the Recursive Newton-Euler algorithm.
  - Damping and fluid-drag passive forces.
  - Actuation forces.

A new implicit-in-velocity integrator is implemented using the analytic derivatives. This integrator lies between the Euler and Runge Kutta integrators in terms of both stability and computational cost.
